Earls Colne Parish Council – 11 Volunteer Councillors

We hold regular meetings to discuss local matters with residents and escalate where appropriate or if required. Parish Council roles and duties vary at local level.

As Earls Colne Parish Council we:

• Own and maintain our own land including some open spaces
• Support BDC with litter picking
• Provide local planning advisory and escalation
• Manage and operate the Village car park
• Litter pick
• Manage some street lighting (as devolved from the County Council)
• Maintain Village bus stops
• Own and operate the Village Hall
